Frost crunches under your boots as you make your way down the steep slope of an alpine valley into the gorge below. You stop at a glacial stream and look down, watching the stream gently trickle through the valley. You take a deep breath of fresh, icy, mountain air, it burns your throat with the cold, but you pay it no mind. The scenery around you is magnificent, you can see for miles across the jagged peaks of Alpina. Peaked with snow caps and glaciers, they jut out like daggers, intimidating all who behold the sight of the Alpine landscape. A gust of wind reminds you of your task at hand. Your home village is still several miles away, but your hunt was successful, with a bounty of three frost hares you killed with your bow, now slung on your back.
